Who is Sunvil?
Sunvil is a family-run, independent tour operator that made its name selling holidays in Greece and Cyprus.
It now sells tailor-made beach and villa-based holidays, as well as city breaks and island-hopping trips all over the world, focusing on lesser-known destinations.
Which? verdict

What’s a Sunvil holiday like?
Family-owned Sunvil has been organising package holidays for more than 50 years. Though it started out as a Greece and Cyprus specialist, it has expanded to provide ‘handcrafted holidays to lesser-known places’ in more than 30 countries.
It prides itself on being fiercely independent, and providing great customer service. It sits in joint second place in our table of smaller and independent providers, beaten only by Inghams.
Customers were impressed by its ‘friendly, knowledgeable agents’, who aim to provide a highly personal service, with holidays tailored to your taste, and the selection of ‘excellent accommodation'.
One survey respondent told us, ‘I've experienced holidays with Sunvil for many years and they have been extremely well-organised. Most importantly, if something goes wrong, like a ferry cancelling due to strong winds, Sunvil are brilliant at resolving the situation.’
Sunvil’s refund, cancellation and surcharge policy
Sunvil is a Which? Recommended Provider (WRP), which means that, as well as being one of the most highly rated holiday firms in our survey, it has also guaranteed to offer a full refund or free changes if the Foreign Office (FCDO) changes its advice about your destination.
It has also promised that in 2025, it won’t apply any additional surcharges to holidays that have already been booked.
