What's Loveholidays like?

Loveholidays came either last or second to last in all five holiday categories it was featured in, illustrating how dissatisfied holidaymakers were with their trips.

Customers didn’t feel that the reality of their holiday matched the description on the Loveholidays website. In all five categories, Loveholidays scored just two stars for this. One customer told us they encountered ‘a very bad hotel, not as described in the app or online’. Another said: ‘It just wasn't as advertised – you expect to receive what they are offering you in the picture and information provided, and it just wasn't.’

Readers also told us that their getaway with Loveholidays was ‘not good value for money’. Its beach holidays, all-inclusives and city breaks got a two-star rating for this. A common theme found in responses was the ‘very basic’ and ‘inadequate’ food and drink. The facilities themselves were not any better. One customer said ‘the rooms were clearly of lower standard with poor views’.

Loveholidays maybe cheap, but they are not always cheerful.

Should I book a holiday with Loveholidays?

No. Our survey showed that despite its low prices, Loveholidays does not offer good value for money. It finished in the bottom two in every table it was included in and there are far better alternatives available, for not much more money.
