What's a Riviera Travel holiday like?
Riviera Travel received a strong 82% customer score in both tour categories it featured in, earning it Which? Recommended Provider status for escorted tours.
These impressive customer scores are backed up by five-star ratings for the overall tour in both escorted and cultural tours. A loyal customer told us: ‘My wife and I have been on a number of holidays with Riviera Travel and they have all been very enjoyable.’
Those who used Riviera Travel complimented the ‘well organised’ tours led by the ‘very knowledgeable guides’. One holidaymaker was full of praise, telling us: ‘The tour was extremely well organised. The guide was excellent, the hotel well situated and the itinerary varied.’ No surprise, then, that it received five-star ratings for organisation in both categories.
At £222pp per night for average short-haul stays, it’s certainly not the cheapest provider in our table, but the four-star value-for-money rating suggests its holidays are worth it.
Riviera Travel refund, cancellation and surcharge policy
Riviera Travel is a Which? Recommended Provider (WRP) which means that as well as being one of the most highly rated holiday firms in our survey it has also guaranteed to offer a full refund, or free changes, if the Foreign Office (FCDO) changes its advice about your destination.
It has also promised that in 2025, it won’t apply any additional surcharges to holidays that have already been booked.
