Who is Beachcomber Tours?
Independent luxury tour operator Beachcomber Tours started out in Mauritius in the 1950s, and now specialises in holidays to Mauritius, the Maldives, Seychelles, Morocco, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE and Oman.

What’s a Beachcomber Tours Holiday like?
The Beachcomber brand was a pioneer in Mauritius, opening its first hotel on the island in 1952. It now owns eight beachfront hotels there, as well as operating wedding, honeymoon and once-in-a-lifetime holiday packages to Seychelles, Maldives and other luxury locations.
It says that being focused on just eight countries gives it unmatched local knowledge and expertise, and holidaymakers were impressed by the customer service and overall organisation of holidays, rating both four stars out of five. One survey respondent told us: 'The company exactly understood my needs and tailored the packaged accordingly.’
It is also one of just two companies in the beach/resort category to receive a four-star rating for value for money, despite offering only luxury holidays. Perhaps this is down to the personal service and high-quality extras. One customer told us: ‘There is much more to Beachcomber than sand, sea and sunshine. I explored the island in so many ways, by boat, on horseback, trekking, quad biking, mountain biking, 4×4 driving, stopping at tourist attractions along the way.’
Beachcomber Tours’ refund, cancellation and surcharge policy
Beachcomber Tours is a Which? Recommended Provider (WRP), which means that, as well as being one of the most highly rated holiday firms in our survey, it has also guaranteed to offer a full refund or free changes if the Foreign Office (FCDO) changes its advice about your destination.
It has also promised that in 2025, it won’t apply any additional surcharges to holidays that have already been booked.
