An extension of the low-cost airline, easyJet holidays offers budget package holidays, including beach and city breaks, with easyJet flights to more than 100 destinations across Europe.

Which? verdict

EasyJet Holidays is one of the cheapest package holiday providers, but there are plenty of others with better customer scores. It didn’t impress in any of the categories it was rated for, from beach holidays to city breaks. If you can, it’s worth paying slightly more and going with Jet2Holidays instead.

Customer score Based on a combination of overall satisfaction and how likely people are to recommend the company. In August/September 2024, we asked 12,119 Which? Connect panel members and members of the public about 19,958 holidays from the past two years, in an online survey.

What’s easyJet holidays like?

EasyJet’s customer scores ranged from 71% to 74%, which placed it in the bottom half of every table in our survey of package holiday providers. It will also be disappointed not to have scored above three stars (out of five) for any element of its holidays in any of the six holiday categories it was rated for.

A regular theme in responses was that holidaymakers had an issue with easyJet’s customer service. Several told us that they experienced ‘poor communication’ following a cancelled or delayed flight. One customer described a ‘distressing’ experience where they ‘sat in the airport for nine hours with no one to ask what was happening'.

It also received poor two-star ratings for accommodation, organisation and description matching reality in three different categories. One customer said that their hotel was ‘very run down’ and ‘looked better in the pictures’.

EasyJet holidays are cheap, though. Out of 30 beach/resort holiday providers in our survey, only five offered a cheaper short-haul price, on average, than easyJet’s £103pp per night.

But despite the cheap prices, it only scored two out of five stars for value for money in both the beach/resort holiday and all-inclusive holiday categories, with one customer simply stating ‘it was just not good value’.

Should I book a holiday with easyJet holidays?

No. Despite the appealing prices, easyJet Holidays does not appear in the top half of the table for any type of holiday. For short-haul packages, we recommend spending £16pp per night more (on average) to go with Jet2Holidays, a Which? Recommended Provider.
