Is InsureandGo good if you have a medical condition?
InsureandGo is a listed medical specialist insurer, meaning it's worth trying if you have trouble getting cover for a reasonable price because of your medical history.
You'll need to declare your conditions to ensure they're covered. InsureandGo works with Verisk, a medical screening company, to evaluate your medical risk.
Be warned: while InsureandGo is a specialist for those with medical conditions, its Budget policy doesn't cover these at all. So if you want your conditions covered, this particular policy won't be suitable.

How good is InsureandGo at handling claims?
InsureandGo uses a company handling firm called Gallagher Bassett to handle its claims.
The latest published data from the Financial Conduct Authority, current to 2024, shows that InsureandGo accepted 85-90% of claims made on European annual policies that year, in line with the average of 86.3%.
Meanwhile, it accepted 80-85% of claims made on annual worldwide and single-trip policies. These figures put it in line with the average for worldwide cover (84.5%) and above the average for single-trip cover (80%).
InsureandGo travel insurance: how can I claim?
InsureandGo's claims number is +44 (0)141 343 1350.
You can also claim online.
Insurers will usually expect you to try recouping lost costs (such as deposits) elsewhere before claiming with them – for example, checking with the travel provider if you're entitled to a refund or can move a cancelled trip. However, you can still call the insurer to let it know if there's a chance you'll need to claim.
You'll need to provide your policy number when you call.
