What network does Smarty use?

Smarty is a virtual provider, which means it uses another provider's infrastructure – in this case, the Three network. It offers 4G and 5G coverage.

How good is Smarty mobile coverage?

Smarty offers 4G and 5G coverage with Three's network, claiming coverage for more than 97% of the population.

Smarty Sim-only deals

A social tariff is available for eligible customers, offering unlimited data for £12 a month. 

Smarty doesn't have out-of-bundle costs, as minutes and texts are unlimited, and you buy data as an add-on.

Does Smarty increase its prices each year?

As Smarty offers rolling 30-day Sim-only contracts, customers are not hit by costly mid-contract price increases. Before the end of the month, you will be able to check what the price to renew is. 

If it does increase or is too expensive, you can simply switch to a different network with no penalty.

Does Smarty include free data roaming?

Yes, all Smarty Sim plans come with 12GB of free EU roaming. 

However, always check to see if the country you’re travelling to is covered before you leave. Some countries you may expect to be included, such as Switzerland, Monaco or Turkey, are not. Use the Smarty roaming rate finder to see how much roaming might cost.
