What network does Lycamobile use?

Lycamobile is a virtual provider, which means it uses another provider's infrastructure – in this case, the EE network. It offers 4G and 5G coverage.

How good is Lycamobile coverage

Does Lycamobile increase its prices each year?

Many Lycamobile deals are rolling 30-day Sim-only contracts, so customers are not hit by costly inflation-based mid-contract price increases. Before the end of the month, you will be able to check what the price to renew is. If it does increase or is too expensive, you can simply switch to a different network with no penalty.

For contracts, Lycamobile has committed to not applying annual price rises, so it's possible you could secure a long-term affordable option.

Does Lycamobile include free data roaming?

Yes, Lycamobile Sim plans include free EU roaming. Contracts with up to 300GB get 12GB of roaming, while unlimited contracts have 35GB. 

However, always check to see if the country you’re travelling to is covered before you leave. Some countries you may expect to be included, such as Switzerland, Monaco or Turkey, are not. Use the Lycamobile roaming rate finder to see how much roaming might cost.
