What network does iD Mobile use?

iD Mobile is a virtual provider, which means it uses another provider's infrastructure – in this case, the Three network. It offers 4G and 5G coverage.

How good is iD Mobile coverage?

You can check the network quality where you live by using our mobile network coverage checker. Simply enter your postcode into the map and it will tell you how good Three's signal is in your area, as well as comparing it with the other providers.

iD Mobile Sim-only deals

iD Mobile offers a range of pay-monthly and pay-as-you-go (PAYG) deals to its customers. View a selection of deals below and click 'Show More' to browse.

Other iD Mobile deals and incentives

iD Mobile offers a data rollover on all plans, which means any unused data is carried over to the next month for free. Any data that's rolled over gets used first. iD Mobile also offers free EU roaming, with a generous 30GB allowance.

Sim-only plans are available for 30 days, and 12 and 24 months, and include a range of pricing options. Choosing a pay-monthly plan allows you to select whether you want a supplied handset or prefer a Sim-only option.

Does iD Mobile increase its prices each year?

iD Mobile Sim-only contracts are not hit by costly inflation-based mid-contract price increases. For one-month rolling Sim contracts, you will be able to check what the price to renew is before the end of the month. If it does increase or is too expensive, you can simply switch to a different network with no penalty.

For 24-month handset contracts, iD Mobile increases its prices each year by £1.50 each April.

To find out how to avoid costly inflation-based price increases, read our guide to 10 ways to save money on your mobile phone bill.

Does iD Mobile include free data roaming?

Yes, all iD Mobile Sim plans come with 30GB of free EU roaming.

However, always check to see if the country you’re travelling to is covered before you leave. Some countries you may expect to be included, such as Switzerland or Turkey, are not. Use the iD Mobile roaming rate finder to see how much roaming might cost.

It may be cheaper to buy a travel eSim for your trip, rather than relying on data add-ons or PAYG. Find out how to do this and what’s available in our guide to the best cheap eSims for mobile roaming abroad.
