What’s Dollar like?

Dollar received one of the worst customer scores in our survey – a dreadful 56%.

Its main downfall is its customer service, for which it received a substandard two out of five stars. One customer told us they encountered a ‘miserable’ man on their desk and another said they felt that Dollar ‘refused to accommodate’ them.

Despite being a budget operator, Dollar also received an average three-star rating for its overall value for money.

Alamo is a far better bet for car rental in the USA.

Should I book with Dollar?

No. Its dreadful customer score and poor customer service rating suggest it’s best avoided.
