Virgin Voyages review

Virgin Voyages, the Richard Branson-owned cruise line, only launched in 2021. Its three super yacht-inspired vessels (which hold up to 2,700 passengers) sail to destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, Australia and the South Pacific.

What’s a Virgin Voyages holiday like?
Virgin Voyages is probably the only ocean liner with a tattoo parlour, while entertainment ranges from drag nights to Shakespeare-themed acrobatics.
On Scarlet Night, everyone is encouraged to wear red for a ship-wide party. One customer told us: ‘It’s aimed at younger people, but I still enjoyed the atmosphere and party vibe.’
It clinched four out of five stars in several categories, including for its food and drink. There are no buffets or set mealtimes, and dining options include a Korean barbecue restaurant, molecular cuisine and a veggie diner.
They’re all included in the upfront price (as are tips and wi-fi), but drinks cost extra.
Should I book with Virgin Voyages?
Virgin’s cruise line is rated highly by passengers, but traditionalists might want to steer clear.
