Who is Seabourn?
Another cruise line owned by the huge Carnival Corporation, Seabourn was founded in 1986. Its fleet of intimate, luxury ships carry between 458 and 600 guests – which is almost matched by the number of staff on board. Destinations include everywhere from the Amazon to Alaska and Antarctica.

What’s a Seabourn holiday like?
Promising a yacht-like atmosphere, Seabourn indulges its guests with welcome champagne and complimentary caviar throughout each voyage. In fact, almost everything is included: with premium spirits and fine wines on tap – the on-board sommeliers will help you pick.
Cabins scored the full five stars. All are ocean-front suites and most come with a private balcony. Other luxuries include a marble bath, Molton Brown products and Swarovski binoculars.
The consensus from guests was that Seabourn was expensive but worth it, delivering the personal touch. One guest said: ‘There’s plenty of space, very attentive staff, no queues, no hidden extras, modest but good entertainment, excellent food and drinks and large cabins.’
Should I book with Seabourn?
It’s not cheap, but elegant small ships offer plenty of perks that add up to a truly luxurious experience.
