The 65-inch 65U7Q from Hisense is a MiniLED TV, which means the bulbs in the backlight are far smaller than normal. This should afford the TV much better control of how the screen is lit and make contrast broader and more balanced. Will it approach OLED levels? Maybe – the technology is improving all the time and it’s cheaper to produce, which is why this high-end Hisense costs far less than a similar OLED from LG or Samsung. Is it any good, though?
