Best deals in the John Lewis sale
'Never knowingly undersold on quality, service and price' is the John Lewis promise and John Lewis promises to check and match the prices of 25 leading retailers even when they are running offers. John Lewis says this means you can be confident that you are paying a competitive price - but it does not lead the charge towards the lowest possible prices in the same way that online retailers do.
Even so there are some good deals to be found, which we've drawn together so you don't have to trawl the John Lewis shelves to find the best bargains.
What makes Which? deals different?
Retailers sometimes use misleading ‘was’ and ‘before’ prices to claim their deals are good. Media sites and artificial intelligence (AI) promote deals from retailers – but do they always check them first? We don’t just take retailers’ word for it, we track actual market prices over six months. We share cheapest and average calculations and evaluate products against strict performance benchmarks. So you get good quality at honest prices.
*References to ‘average price' and 'cheapest price' are based on Which? market knowledge and information supplied by our partners. Prices are checked for the six calendar months prior to publication. Not all retailers are included in our checks.
Best TV deals at John Lewis
LG 43QNED82A6B
Average price in the past six months: £502
Cheapest price in the past six months: £399*

- 43-inch 4K TV
- QLED display
- Supports HDR10 and HLG formats
We like: Simple to use
We don't like: Poor motion handling at SD
The 43-inch 43QNED82A6B is the smallest and cheapest of LG’s QNED range. QNED is unique to LG, but it basically means it has quantum dots to boost colour.
It’s more basic than other QNED TVs, which keeps costs low, but still has a few features you don't always find on TVs in this price range: support for Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, recording and pausing live TV with the built-in PVR, a microphone in the remote that enables you to control some parts of the TV with your voice.
Should you opt for this discounted 43-inch model? Discover all you need to know in our LG 43QNED82A6B review.
LG 43NANO80A6B
Average price in the past six months: £363
Cheapest price in the past six months: £269*

- 43-inch 4K TV
- LCD display
- Supports HDR10 and HLG formats
We like: LG’s operating system and remote work well together
We don't like: Sound lacks dynamism
This entry-level TV from LG incorporates the brand's Nanocell tech, which is designed to boost colour – that's unusual for a television that you can buy for less than £400.
For this price, you shouldn't expect a whole host of bells and whistles (gaming features are a little limited, for example), but there's still the option to use voice controls through LG's excellent Magic Remote, and recording is available, too.
Read our LG 43NANO80A6B review to discover whether this is a bargain TV worth bagging.
Samsung QE43QN90F
Average price in the past six months: £953
Cheapest price in the past six months: £699*

- 43-inch 4K TV
- Neo QLED display
- Supports HDR10, HLG and HDR10+ formats
We like: Intuitive operating system
We don't like: Fiddly remote
The QE43QN90F is a Neo QLED TV with a backlight stuffed with miniscule bulbs to improve contrast and push brightness.
Samsung has given it the high-end treatment, too, so there are nice extras for gamers such as the 165Hz screen, FreeSync and variable refresh rate tech, all for a cheaper price than an OLED from LG or Samsung.
Samsung’s Tizen operating system is as slick as ever, but the remote could do with more buttons.
Check out the full Samsung QE43QN90F review to see how this one scored in our tests.
LG OLED65C54LA
Average price in the past six months: £1,961
Cheapest price in the past six months: £1,279*

- 65-inch 4K TV
- OLED display
- Supports HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision formats
We like: Excellent HDR use
We don't like: Smart menu could be more customisable
If your budget stretches into the thousands then there’s no shortage of high-end TVs for you to choose from and it was manufacturer LG that first popularised OLED technology utilised by the OLED65C54LA.
It’s packed with gaming features, most notably the 120Hz screen to really make the most of what modern consoles can do. This, as well as FreeSync and VRR (variable refresh rate) will help games play and look smoother. And Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast are both built-in, so you’ll easily be able to stream content from your phone to your TV.

11-inch Apple iPad (2025)
Average price in the past six months: £327
Cheapest price in the past six months: £284*

- 10.9-inch screen
- 6GB Ram
- 128GB of storage
We like: Cheapest iPad since 2022
We didn't like: No Apple Intelligence
The 2025 iPad (2025) is sure to tempt Apple fans, launching at almost half the price of an iPad Air and £170 less than the iPad mini.
It has a 10.9-inch screen with 2,360 x 1,640-pixel resolution. It runs on the A16 Bionic chip, which is the same processor found in the iPhone 15.
It has a sleek finish and comes in four colours: blue, pink, silver or yellow. It doesn’t come with Apple Intelligence, though, which is Apple’s latest software features powered by AI.
Get all the information you need about this iPad with our Apple 11-inch iPad (2025) review.
Apple iPad Air (2025)
Average price in the past six months: £604
Cheapest price in the past six months: £499*

Available from John Lewis for £569 or compare prices at other retailers:
- 11-inch and 13-inch versions
- Starts at 8GB Ram and 128GB storage
- M3 processor
We like: Upgraded processor
We didn't like: Processor aside, not the biggest upgrade
Sporting the powerful M3 chipset, the iPad Air has never been more powerful. The Air sits in the mid-range of tablets. Unless you're an absolute power-user who absolutely needs the souped-up iPad Pro, you will find this a more than capable tablet for your needs.
The Air comes with Apple Intelligence (AI). So if you don't need this, consider saving some money and getting the cheaper, standard iPad instead.
Read our Apple 11-inch iPad Air (2025) review to see our verdict.
iPad Mini 2024
Average price in the past six months: £474
Cheapest price in the past six months: £400*

- 8.3-inch screen
- 8GB Ram
- 128GB of storage
We like: Unbeatable portability
We didn't like: The speakers could be better, based on our tests
This deal isn't a huge discount, but reductions can be scarce with Apple and this is the best offer we could find available on iPads right now. As the smallest tablet in Apple's range, with an 8.3-inch display, the iPad Mini is designed for those who would prefer to have a more compact tablet that's easy to carry on the go.
Even though it is smaller than its siblings, the Mini still packs the core iPadOS experience. Thanks to the most recent iPadOS 26 update, this now features windowed app multitasking.
Budding artists will be pleased to know that the iPad Mini is compatible with the Apple Pencil, although the stylus could just as easily be used for taking down some handwritten notes in a meeting or lecture.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE
Average price in the past six months: £480
Cheapest price in the past six months: £329*

- 10.9-inch screen
- 12GB Ram
- 256GB of storage
We like: Speedy charging
We don't like: Not for demanding tasks
A mid-range tablet in both price and features. It has a 10.9-inch LCD with a 1,440 x 2,304 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s available in grey, silver and blue.
You can choose between a model with 128GB storage and 8GB Ram or a more expensive 256GB/12GB version. There’s also an option to add 5G connectivity, enabling you to stream data on the go. It comes with a micro-SD card slot for adding extra storage.
It’s an upgrade from its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, thanks to a lower weight and thinner design, a newer processor and enhanced camera specifications.
Find out how this version compares to Samsung's pricer options with our Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE review.
Lenovo Tab Plus
Average price in the past six months: £234
Cheapest price in the past six months: £165*

- 11.4-inch screen
- 8GB of Ram
- 128GB of storage
We like: Quick to charge
We don't like: Bulky
The Lenovo Tab Plus is advertised as a premium entertainment tablet, but for a reasonable price. It's an Android tablet with a 11.4-inch 2K screen and a built-in kickstand.
It runs on a Helio G99 processor with 8GB of Ram. You charge it via a USB-C port. Lenovo provides the cable to do this but you’ll need to buy a compatible charger separately. If you want a stylus, you’ll need to buy this separately too.
Read our Lenovo Tab Plus review to see if this tablet is worth your money.

Apple 14-inch MacBook Pro M5
Average price in the past six months: £1,597
Cheapest price in the past six months: £1,423*

- Apple M5 processor
- 16GB Ram
- 512GB storage
We like: Lightning-fast processor
We don’t like: No full-sized USB ports or face scanner
This 14-inch laptop from Apple was released in October and is getting a discount for the first time thanks to online retailer Box.
It has a powerful Apple M5 processor, 16GB of Ram and a 512GB SSD. There are three USB-C ports (super-high-speed Thunderbolt 4 data transfer format), an HDMI port, SD card reader and 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack. It also has a MagSafe 3 charging port and a fingerprint reader for swift, secure login.
It weighs 1.54kg - this is heavy for a 14-inch laptop, but is due in part to its all-metal aluminium body and glass screen.
To find out whether this laptop is worth your money, see our expert Apple MacBook Pro M5 review.
Apple 13-inch MacBook Air M4
Average price in the past six months: £922
Cheapest price in the past six months: £849*

- Apple M4 Pro processor
- 16GB Ram
- 256GB storage
We like: Fast and responsive
We don’t like: Low on ports – two Thunderbolt USB-C and a 3.5mm jack
This 13.6-inch laptop from Apple (there’s also a 15.3-inch larger version) is its thinnest, lightest MacBook (hence the ‘Air’ in its name).
The 256GB of storage feels stingy for the price – but it's good to see 16GB of Ram, as opposed to the 8GB on previous base models, and that powerful M4 processor.
To find out if this MacBook is the one for you, see our expert Apple 13-inch MacBook Air M4 review.
Best hair dryer deal at John Lewis
Dyson Supersonic Nural

Cheapest price in the past six months: £279*

- 3 speed settings
- 3 temperature settings
- Comes with attachments: diffuser, flyaway attachment, gentle air attachment, styling concentrator, wide-tooth comb
We like: Neat hair tech built-in
We don't like: More expensive than the other Supersonics
Dyson's newer Nural hair dryer is currently on offer and this deal includes all the attachments and additional tech.
The difference between this hair dryer versus the other one is the inclusion of sensors that automatically adjust temperature based on how close it is to your scalp.
Is it any better than the regular Supersonic? Read our Dyson Supersonic Nural review to find out.
Best vacuum cleaner deal at John Lewis
Vax HomePro
Average price in the past six months: £230
Cheapest price in the past six months: £159*

- Bagless and cordless stick vacuum cleaner
- 0.7 litre dust capacity
- Weighs 3.7kg
We like: Decent to use overall
We don't like: Not great for vacuuming at height
This cordless handstick vacuum cleaner from the Vax HomePro range is the entry-level model, which comes with just a crevice tool. If you want more tools, you'll need to move up the range – the HomePro Plus adds a stair tool, the HomePro Pet adds a pet tool, and the top-of-the range HomePro Pet-Design adds a motorised pet tool.
The beauty of this simple model though, is the price. Just bear in mind it's not great for cleaning at height, and it's noisy. It benefits from a five-year guarantee with registration.
How well does this simple model clean? Find out in our full Vax HomePro review.
Dyson V11 Extra
Average price in the past six months: £412
Cheapest price in the past six months: £327*

- Bagless and cordless vacuum cleaner
- 0.8 litre dust capacity
- Weighs 3kg
We like: Plenty of accessories
We don't like: It's hard work to push on carpets
This cordless Dyson has a dust canister with a ‘point and shoot’ emptying mechanism, designed to expel dirt without you having to reach inside.
The V11 Extra comes with a crevice tool, upholstery and furniture nozzle, as well as a dusting brush, a tool for vacuuming your mattress, and a mini turbo brush designed for smaller spaces.
There are three power modes to choose from – high, medium and low – and a digital display on the motor unit, so you can see how long you have left before the battery runs out.

Best air fryer deal at John Lewis
Ninja Crispi FN101UKGY
Average price in the past six months: £150
Cheapest price in the past six months: £99*

- Oven type
- Single cooking zone
- 30 x 29 x 35cm (H x W x D)
We like: Its quick
We don't like: It's not the easiest to clean
This unusual design features an innovative plastic air frying lid (that Ninja calls the PowerPod) that clips on to the supplied glass cooking containers. Two sizes are provided in the box, each with its own Tupperware-type lid so you can get your pre-prepped food straight out of the fridge and on to the table without making more washing up, or even take it on the go. There’s also a size adapter to make the air fryer lid fit the larger dish, and two crisper plates.
Its maximum cooking capacity (using the larger container) is 1kg – on the smaller side for air fryers we’ve tested, but big enough for generous portions for a couple.
Find out if the portable concept is a boon or a bust with our Ninja Crispi FN101UKGY review.

We don't like: Dim internal light

We don't like: Pods can be expensive

Best fridge freezer deals at John Lewis
Haier HBW7518CTK
Average price in the last six months: £995
Cheapest price in the past six months: £885*

- Integrated
- Frost-free freezer
- White
We like: Very quiet
We don't like: Big bottles don't fit in the door
This is an integrated fridge freezer with a 70/30 split between the fridge and freezer. The doors are reversible, and it’s designed for installation in a sliding door system, where the cabinet door attaches to rails instead of directly to the appliance.
This is a smart appliance. It can be controlled using the Haier hOn app on iOS and Android devices.
It has three shelves, two drawers and door racks, plus a bottle shelf in the fridge and three more drawers in the freezer. The controls and display are positioned in the middle of the drawers, which Haier says is ergonomic and practical.
Our Haier HBW7518CTK review reveals if this model keeps its cool when temperatures soar.

We like: Great value
We don't like: Battery life
With a launch price of £399, the Galaxy A36 serves the lower end of the mid-range market but for many will be a more than capable phone.
Just like with the rest of Samsung's most recent phones, you can get seven years of software support here, and the phone is set to receive the company's new One UI 8 update, bringing the software experience up to par with the rest of the range.
Specs-wise, you've got a large 6.7-inch display that uses AMOLED technology for vibrant colours and deep contrast. There's also a triple camera array on the back, which is headlined by a 50Mp sensor.
