Our dedicated team of experts pick out the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals in the Currys sale.

Currys is set to lower prices on over 3,000 products this Black Friday, promising that 'not one of them will have been cheaper in the last six months. In addition, the majority are at an even lower price than they’ve been in the past six months.'

We'll be keeping an eye on that. So if you've been checking out a Currys gadget or home appliance, be sure to keep an eye on us, too.

Our guide to Black Friday 2024 will help you get the best of the sales.

 Currys air fryer deals

Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer SL400UK

* Average price in the past six months: £248. Cheapest price in the past six months: £189

We like: Its double-height design saves counter space

We don't like: It weighs a substantial 10kg

While most dual air fryers feature side-by-side drawers this Ninja has stacked drawers for kitchens where space is at a premium. It is 38cm tall and is designed to fit under kitchen cabinets.

Inserting the included Stacked Meal racks into each drawer doubles the cooking surfaces, allowing you to cook four things at once, and the Sync function ensures both drawers finish cooking at the same time.

Read our full Ninja Double Stack SL400UK review to see how it stacks up.

This is a single-zone plastic air fryer, with a 6.2-litre basket.

The easy-to-use touchscreen has nine preset functions: frozen chips, fresh chips, chicken drumsticks, meat, fish, breakfast, vegetables, cake and keep warm.

 Philips 3000 Series NA352/00

* Average price in the past six months: £167. Cheapest price in the past six months: £100

We like: It's easy to use

We don't like: It's awkward to clean

This dual-zone air fryer from Philips comes with two removable drawers to accommodate your food, one larger than the other.

The digital display allows you to switch between eight auto programs, to help take the guesswork out of dinner.

You can use the two cooking zones separately, or you can use the Copy function to set the same cooking time and temperature for both.

Read the full Philips 3000 Series NA352/00 review to discover how well it cooks.

We don't like: Accessibility features could be better, based on our tests

Considering the sheer amount of TV you get for its reduced price, the LG 65UT81006LA is likely to feature on the shortlist of anyone looking for a 65-inch TV this Black Friday. It has fewer features than some modern sets, but there is voice control, a gaming mode and AI brightness control.

The good-sized Magic Remote that comes with the TV is well-laid out, even if some of the text is a bit tricky to read. You can use it like any remote, or a bit like a wand where you direct the motion- controlled pointer at your screen.

This Acer offers specs similar to lots of models double its current price. The 16GB Ram should help future-proof it, too.

There are some things to watch out for, including its 1.8kg weight being on the higher side for a laptop of this size, and having no USB-C ports (there are three full-size USB, so room for an adaptor).

  • 256GB of storage

We like: Quick processor

We don’t like: Might be too big for some people

This 14.6-inch tablet was Samsung’s top-of-line model from last year, increasing the screen size to 14.6-inches from the 12.6-inch of the S9+. Otherwise, the spec is very similar, with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon SM8550 processor, 12GB Ram and 1,848 x 2,960 resolution display.

We don't like: Lacklustre cameras in our tests

It’s a 10.9-inch tablet from Google with a speaker dock to improve the sound quality and keep it on charge. The screen has a high resolution to optimise every detail.

Its Google eight-core Tensor G2 processor with 8GB of Ram is about standard for a mid-range tablet, and the 128GB of storage should be plenty for most.

  • Runs the Android operating system

We like: Easy to use

We don't like: Poor cameras, based on our lab tests

This 11-inch tablet has a screen resolution of 1,200 x 1,920 pixels – so it’s around Full HD. The processor has eight cores and is supported by 4GB of Ram, which is about what we would expect from a tablet at this price.

The eight cores are designed for multitasking and to improve efficiency, so the tablet doesn't use the more powerful, battery-intensive cores for simple processes.

  • 6.1-inch (2,532 x 1,170 pixels) Super Retina XDR display
  • Dual-camera system with a larger sensor
  • Estimated minimum of six years of security updates from launch

We like Camera upgrades

We don’t like No Dynamic Island notch on the display

The Apple iPhone 14 from 2022 has dropped in price at a number of retailers.

It's the standard model in the 14 range and the cheapest, but it has a number of premium perks. The processor – called the A15 Bionic chip – is the same as in the iPhone 13, but it received an upgraded five-core GPU and 6GB of memory. The front-facing camera has powerful autofocus, making it smarter at focusing in pictures.

It comes in five different colours and with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of memory. Cinematic mode records in 4K, but the cameras aren't as advanced as on the iPhone 14 Pro.

The flagship model in the Honor Magic6 series and available in black or green. As you would expect, it supports 5G and wi-fi 7 for the quickest data transfers, and its processor is premium in the smartphone market.

It’s IP68 dust and water-resistant (up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes) and supports contactless payments and wireless charging.

Google Pixel 8 Pro

* Average price in the past six months: £809. Cheapest price in the past six months: £499

Google Pixel 8 Pro
  • Google Tensor G3 processor
  • Versatile cameras
  • Seven years of support from launch

We like: Streamlined and fast user experience

We don't like: Battery could be better

Google's most advanced phone from 2023 is the cheapest we've ever seen it in the early Back Friday deals. It has a variety of camera lenses for high-resolution shots and it's the only phone in the Pixel 8 series to get Google Gemini Nano. This is Google's AI model for smartphones designed to help simplify and speed up day-to-day tasks. It has other fancy features too, such as a sensor that lets you scan an object to measure its temperature. Google claims you can use this to check if your pan is hot enough to start cooking, for example.

Notably, it also offers seven years of security updates from launch. So even though it's a year old, you won't have to trade it in any time soon.

 Shark IZ300UKT

The Shark IZ300UKT cordless vac is designed for homes with pets. It charges relatively quickly, taking just under three hours for a full battery that lasts 47 minutes.

The LED display shows battery life, suction levels and floor-type options, and its controls let you choose between eco, deep clean and boost power modes. In the box you'll find a crevice tool, multi-surface tool, pet tool, accessory bag, Lithium-Ion battery, charger, instruction booklet and quick-start guide.

Currys and a few other retailers have the massage gun on offer for £175, which the lowest we've seen it go in the past six months. You don't need to rush to buy it though, as we have seen it drop to this price before.

 Currys smartwatch deals

Google Pixel Watch 3 45mm

* Average price in the past six months: £391.76. Cheapest price in the past six months: £329

Google Pixel Watch
  • AMOLED colour touchscreen
  • 456 x 456-pixel resolution
  • Always-on display

We like: Luxurious feel, extensive smart features

We don't like: Substandard speaker

On the side of this Google smartwatch, you'll spot a bezel and button for navigating it when not using the touchscreen. It’s only compatible with Android phones and can’t be connected to an Apple iPhone.

The Pixel Watch comes with a silicone strap, which is the one we tested. With 5 ATM water resistance, it can be used in shallow water, but it’s worth knowing that the resistance can depreciate over time. You can buy a fabric or leather strap separately, but these aren’t water resistant.

When did the Currys Black Friday 2024 sale start?

Currys Black Friday deals

Last year, Currys started its Black Friday sale on 3 November, three weeks before Black Friday.

This year, Currys kicked off its sale from 1 November. But because Black Friday falls much later than it did in 2024 (Black Friday is on 29 November and Cyber Monday on 2 December) it means the Currys sale will last a whole month.

That also means there is plenty of time to shop, so there's  really no need to panic buy this year (or any year).

See John Lewis Black Friday sale and Boots Black Friday sale to find out about their sales.

What is on offer in the Currys Black Friday 2024 sale?

Currys is offering discounts across pretty much all of its departments.

This year, the retailer says it will list the price of each product before it went on sale along with the dates it was at its previous price, both in-store and online.

It says that all products come with the Currys Price Promise, which offers a price match against any other UK retailer, online or in store. If you see the same item cheaper elsewhere, Currys will refund you the difference. Terms and conditions apply.

You can save more money by taking a piece of old tech into a Currys store to be recycled before you pick up your Black Friday deal. Under the Currys Cash for Trash scheme, you will receive a minimum £5 voucher to put towards your next eligible tech purchase (minimum £25 spend to redeem).

Does Currys offer any guarantees?

You can get some lengthy product guarantees at Currys, but not always. Take TVs and washing machines, where high-end models get five-year guarantees, while more basic ones won't have any additional guarantee beyond the manufacturer's.

If a guarantee is available it's usually shown as a bullet point when you're browsing through lists of products, or in the specifications section once you've clicked on a product.

More generally, all products bought at Currys come with a standard 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the date the item was purchased, but some manufacturers offer longer.

For a fee, Currys also provides a Care & Repair service, which offers breakdown support if needed. If the product is found to be irreparable, Currys will provide vouchers so you can get a replacement.
