Best cordless mower deals
Greenworks GWGD24LM33K4
*Average price in the past six months: £190.69. Cheapest price in the past six months: £159.95

- Recommended for small-sized lawns
- Cutting range: 25mm to 65mm
- Weight: 10.2kg (with collector attached)
We like: Quick to assemble
We don't like: Not the best on rough grass
With a cutting width of 33cm, it's a good mower for smaller lawns that are up to 50m². It has five cutting heights, and is powered by a 18V lithium-ion battery.
This technically isn't the best bargain we've seen on it – we've seen the mower itself go for less. However, this deal comes with the battery, which is saving you more money than buying both separately.
How does it compare to other mowers? Read our Einhell GE-CM 18/33 Li review to find out.

Bosch AdvancedRotak 36V-44-750
*Average price in the past six months: £532.24. Cheapest price in the past six months: £479.99

- Recommended for medium-sized lawns
- Cutting range: 25mm to 80mm
- Weight: 16.6kg (with collector attached)
We like: Quiet
We don't like: Heavy
This electric mower uses a rotary blade (as the name would suggest), but there's a roller behind the blade, which can help give grass a neater finish.
It has a cutting width of 44cm, and its battery should last long enough to mow a medium-sized lawn. You can use the same batteries with other Bosch electric tools.

Best corded lawn mower deals
Mac Allister MLM1334 Corded Rotary Lawnmower
*Average price in the past six months: £82.33. Cheapest price in the past six months: £75.65

- Recommended for small-sized lawns
- Cutting range: 20mm to 70mm
- Weight: 13.2kg
We like: Lightweight and easy to adjust
We don't like: Awkward grass catcher
This budget-friendly corded mower is more expensive than usual, however – considering it's still under £100 – its value is hard to beat.
To adjust the cutting height, all you need to do is tweak a single lever. It's got six settings ranging from 20mm to 70mm. The cord reaches 10 metres, so if you have a larger garden, you might want extension leads (or to go cordless).
If you've got a small lawn or a smaller budget, this is a great pick.

How to spot a good lawn mower deal

Ceri Thomas, Which? Gardening editor, says:
- A corded mower is usually the cheapest option, but if you'd prefer not to run the risk of cutting the cable while you mow, try a cordless model instead. There are ones that are as powerful as petrol mowers nowadays, and they're much easier to start.
- The cutting width of the mower tells you what size lawn it's suitable for. Smaller cuttings widths (30-34cm) are easy to get into tight spaces on small lawns; while bigger cutting widths (40cm+) make quicker work of getting through large lawns.
- If you don't have much storage space, look for a mower that can have its handles folded so it takes up less space when you're not using it. Some can even be stored vertically to reduce the amount of floor space they take up.
