Bondi Sands SPF50+ face sun lotion failed our SPF tests not once but twice. It didn’t come close to the claimed SPF50+ in either test. When we tested the UVA protection it also failed two tests, on both occasions failing to reach the minimum UVA protection required. That’s why we’ve made it a Don’t Buy. Bondi Sands told us: ‘We do not share this assessment of our product as it does not reflect our own testing, which is in line with strict UK cosmetic laws and EU cosmetics regulations. We take the Which? claims very seriously and we are working with them to better understand their testing methods. In the meantime, we are conducting our own internal testing to reconfirm our existing results.’
