We subject every car to hundreds of lab and road tests, ensuring you know exactly how well it performs for safety, practicality, performance and more.
If a car scores particularly badly, it will be a Which? Don't Buy, meaning you should spend your money on a different model.
Electric, petrol, diesel or hybrid: use our new and used car reviews to find the perfect model for you.
We helped to establish Euro NCAP in 1996 and continue to partner with the crash test organisation regarding safety issues.
All cars tested by Euro NCAP are given an overall star rating out of five. If it scores two stars or fewer, we automatically make it a Don't Buy as we believe modern cars should earn at least three stars or more to be considered safe.
Any vehicle that scores three stars can't be a Best Buy.
