Best gifts for mums under £25
Tony's Chocolonely bars

I regularly get given Tony's Chocolonely for and really look forward to it. The chocolate's gorgeous plus I love the thickness of it. I have a small(ish) piece with my coffee, every day, and it makes me smile as I think of the kids when I have it. Lads, if you're reading, a fry-up wouldn't go amiss, either.
We like: Lots of flavours
Watch out for: Uneven bars can be a bit tricky to break apart
From Ben & Jerry's dark milk brownie to caramel sea salt, Tony's Chocolonely has a mouth-watering array of flavours and bundles of 180g bars.
There are also options for you to customise the packaging so that mum can read your message every time she snacks on something sweet.
You can buy bars direct from Tony's Chocolonely or compare prices on a regular bar of milk chocolate below:
Personalised handwritten keyring

This cute gift is a thoughtful way to remember your kids' handwriting when they were little as life moves so fast we quickly forget. Bonus points if it’s something heartfelt like ‘love you, mummy'.
We like: Engraved in your handwriting
Watch out for: Engraving both sides costs extra
If you're looking to give a gift that's a bit more personal without breaking the bank or resorting to DIY skills, this is a great option that you can customise however you see fit.
How does it work? You'll send a picture of a handwritten note to the seller and they'll engrave it on a small stainless steel keychain. Prices start from £12 for a single-sided engraving.
You can pick up one from sellers on sites like Etsy. Our experts liked this one.
Bird and Blend tea or a Grind coffee subscription

Bird and Blend make top-notch tea and they have an enormous range of different types and flavours, some of which are award-winning. You can build your own gift box filled with teas your mum might love. The Chocolate Digestives Tea and Strawberry Lemonade are my favourites, and the flavoured matcha is divine.
We like: Unusual flavours of tea
Watch out for: Monthly costs
Start her day off right by elevating her morning cuppa with some new brews.
We loved the teas from Bird and Blend; they offer a wide variety of blends and flavours with wildcards like cherry cola bottles, carrot cake, apple strudel, or chocolate digestives. There are more traditional blends available, too. Building a box of five flavours will cost you £17.50.
If she's a coffee drinker, our experts recommended getting a subscription to Grind coffee. There are a variety of blends and roasts, with options for whole bean, ground or Nespresso pods. Plans start from £8 for a small bag of coffee, or you can get one of Grind's bundles. It could be a great gift to pair with a Best Buy espresso or pod coffee machine, too.
You can build a box of teas from Bird and Blend, or subscribe to a coffee subscription from Grind.
Tickets to a women's footie match

I got given tickets to see the Lionesses at Wembley – and they beat Spain, the current World Champions! I had a fantastic time. If you can't travel to Wembley, Women's Super League club tickets are cheap – Arsenal is about £15 for really good seats.
We like: Inexpensive tickets
Watch out for: Only located near larger cities
If she's a sports buff and you live near a city such as Liverpool, Manchester, Leicester, Brighton or London, a great birthday gift could be a day out to see a football match played by one of the women's league teams.
Tickets are fairly affordable for the Women's Super League, with adults costing from around £15 and kids from £5 - meaning the whole family can make a day of it.
You can find match dates and tickets from the Women's League FA site.
More gifts for mothers under £20
- A bottle of fizz: You can't go wrong here – especially when there are great-tasting bottles available for less than £15. Read our taste tests on the best champagnes or best sparkling wines to help you pick a bottle for mum.

Best gifts for mum under £50
Contigo West Loop Autoseal Travel Mug

We like: Dedicated lock button
We don't like: Needs to be constantly held down to drink
This 470ml travel mug makes a great gift for mums on the go, whether that's carting the kids around, running early morning errands, travelling into work or going on a long drive. Contigo claims this mug will keep hot drinks warm for five hours, and cold drinks cool for 12.
Although we thought the locking mechanism was a handy feature for slinging this mug in a bag, she'll have to hold down a trigger button when she wants to take a sip.
How leakproof is it? You'll need to read our Contigo West Loop Autoseal review to find out.

InvoSpa Shiatsu Foot Massager

We like: Easy to operate and clean
We don't like: Heat can't be adjusted
Is your mum on her feet all day, working or chasing around after the kids? Give her a well-deserved rest and on-demand foot rubs with this heated foot massager.
This model has six massage settings, comes with a remote control, and is used while wearing socks. It was also one of the cheapest models we tested.
If you think she'd prefer a soak instead, why not read our reviews of the best foot spas?

Best gifts for mum under £100
Build-your-own gardening bundle

We like: Can include seeds, tools and more
Watch out for: Don't forget a Which? Gardening subscription
If mum's got green fingers, getting her some new gardening kit is a great way to jumpstart her spring planting in style.
You can include things like a new pair of gardening gloves, some secateurs, a kneeling pad, a watering can or hose, and – of course – some seeds.
Call us biased, but we think a Which? Gardening subscription also makes a great addition to any gardening bundle. You can sign up using our online tool.

A spa break for one

Many mums of younger kids can feel touched out and sick of being ‘on’ all the time, they want to sit in silence, stare at a wall and not have to think about what to make for dinner, again. A spa day is a great gift, and for it to really work, do the mental load for her too; clear the calendar, sort the childcare, and book it in.
We like: Well-deserved R&R
Watch out for: Read the small print before booking
We hardly need to say it; mums do a lot of hard work.
Think of this like gifting a day off – isn't that what we all want sometimes? You can find deals and discounts available on all sorts of relaxing spa days, overnight stays and treatments across the country.
There are some good bargains out there, but be sure to check the T&Cs for any caveats such as only being available on weekdays or specific dates and locations.
You can get massage and experience vouchers from sites like Buyagift, Treatwell, or Virgin Experience Days.
Dreamland Herringbone Pattern Heated Throw

This thing is a desert island possession for me as a mum with circulation problems – in fact I bought a second so one can just permanently live on my bed!
We like: Long cable, stylish
We don't like: Not the cheapest to run
If your mum gets cold during the winter months, a heated throw is a gift that will keep her warm and cosy.
This one has six heat settings and a nearly four-metre long cable, which won't keep her tethered too close to a power socket. Dreamland claims it can heat up in just five minutes, although you'll need to read our review to find out whether this was the case.
Read our verdict in our guide on the best electric blankets and heated throws. Compare prices on each colour below:
Thinking of sticking with a traditional bouquet? Here's how you can best preserve flowers at home.

JBL Live 770NC headphones

We like: Comfortable to wear
We don't like: Not the best build quality
Noise-cancelling headphones can be a blessing in a busy household, especially if mum is after a bit of peace and quiet. These over-ear wireless headphones from JBL are packed with features you'd typically find in more expensive models: there's a wired mode, spatial audio and customisable noise cancelling.
JBL claims they have a battery life of up to 65 hours, and we put this to the test in our labs. You'll need to read our full review to see how long they lasted, but it won't be the end of the world if mum forgets to charge them after a day of use.

Lenovo Tab M11 and some ebooks

We don't like: Muffled speech from speakers
If mum's a voracious reader but doesn't want to be weighed down by heavy tomes, this is a great gift. You could go for a Kindle, but they can be a bit limited in what they can do. Our experts instead suggested picking up this budget-friendly tablet so she can also watch shows, browse the web or play some games in between chapters.
It's not the smallest model we've tested but, weighing 471g, this 11-inch tablet should be around the same weight as a hardcover novel.
