Hisense RB5K330GSFC
* Average price in the past six months: £994. Cheapest price in the past six months: £799

- Freestanding
- Frost-free freezer
- Black finish
We like: It's not as deep as some, so accessing things at the back is easy
We don’t like: Inflexible shelf positioning
This is a black freestanding fridge freezer from the higher end of the Hisense range. The fridge and freezer space is split 65/35. The fridge has four shelves, three door racks and two drawers, while the freezer below has three drawers.
With a depth of 60cm, Hisense claims this fridge freezer is designed to ‘fit into almost any kitchen space without compromising your overall kitchen design’. That could be handy if you have a small kitchen.
The fast-freeze function speeds up the freezing process by lowering the temperature to -28°C and circulating cold air. This helps maximise the preservation of vitamins and nutrients in food. The fridge has a matching super-cool function.

How to spot a good deal on a fridge freezer
Fran Roberts-Thornton Which? fridge freezer expert says:

- Whether it's on sale or not, a fridge freezer is a significant purchase that will hopefully last you for years. Be wary of great-sounding deals on fridge freezers that aren't energy efficient, because an electricity-hungry model could end up costing you more in the long run.
- Don’t be upsold on gimmicks or flashy features that you're not likely to use. Our research proves that manufacturers sometimes prioritise fancy features and settings over cooling or freezing food effectively. Read our reviews to make sure you're buying the best fridge freezer for you.
- Always check there’s enough space in your kitchen to fit in your fridge freezer. You’ll need at least 5cm all around it for effective ventilation.

Where to find deals on specific fridge freezer brands
Big high street and online retailers such as Amazon, AO, Argos, Currys and John Lewis tend to offer better deals than the manufacturers.
To ensure you choose a model you’re happy with, read our fridge freezer reviews. That way, you’ll avoid picking up a ‘bargain’ that turns out to be a dud.
Haier fridge freezer deals
