Which? responds to the CMA investigating Google’s search services

Rocio Concha, Which? Director of Policy and Advocacy, said:

"Google's continued stranglehold on online search has been bad for businesses and consumers. It has likely led to higher advertising prices and reduced choice, and people want more control over their personal data.

"The CMA is right to prioritise action in a market fundamental to the UK economy. Fairer and more competitive markets don’t just benefit consumers and businesses, but they also boost innovation and economic growth."
