It runs on a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with 12GB of Ram, rather than the Exynos 2400 in the previous series and this new processor is equipped to run new AI features as part of the expanding Galaxy AI.

Samsung Galaxy A16 5G
*Average price in the past six months: £144. Cheapest price in the past six months: £102

- Excellent value
- Large 6.7-inch display
- Supported for six years, despite its low price
We like: Improved processing speed
We don’t like: Battery life isn't as good as its predecessor's
You'll be hard pushed to beat the Samsung A16 based on pure value – it's part of the Galaxy range, but far undercuts the premium S-series models.
It doesn't have the latest camera technology, but it still has three rear lenses, including an ultra-wide lens to help increase the field of view of your shots. It has a large 6.7-inch screen with 2,340 x 1,080 resolution, and is fuelled by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 4GB of Ram.
Also consider the previous 5G version of the A15 (SQUIRREL_TEXT_50013789) or the 4G version (SQUIRREL_TEXT_50013855).

Unlike the previous S9 range, it doesn't have a Snapdragon processor, but the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset that replaces it is state of the art. It comes with 12GB of Ram if you opt for the 256GB or 512GB storage option, or 16GB of Ram if you choose the 1TB option.

We don't like: The body of the TV rattles a bit at some frequencies
The QE48S90D is Samsung’s first 48-inch OLED TV. It’s not alone in making smaller OLEDs though, and faces stiff competition from LG, Panasonic and Sony.
Still, Samsung certainly has the pedigree to produce the best 48-inch OLED of 2024 and, characteristic of the manufacturer's range, this model has plenty of accessibility features.

Samsung The Frame 2024 QE55LS03D
*Average price in the past six months: £924. Cheapest price in the past six months: £849

- 55-inch 4K Ultra-HD TV
- QLED display
- Supports HDR10, HLG and HDR10+ formats
We like: Clever gallery mode design
We don't like: Remote takes some getting used to
If you like the idea of having a TV that doubles as a painting, then Samsung's Frame TV may be the one for you – especially as its art mode lets you choose from hundreds of works of art from galleries around the globe that you can display on the screen.
The way the TV handles its inputs is clever, too. There's only one wire coming from the TV and it connects a hub with your HDMI and USB inputs as well as the power. It helps maintain the illusion of the TV being a painting.

Are Samsung products good?
Paul Lester, Which? technology editor, says:
'Plenty of Samsung products have sailed through our rigorous lab tests to earn Best Buy badges - but others haven't fared so well. To find out which we recommend, our in-depth reviews reveal those worth paying more for, and where you can snap up a bargain. If you've spotted a deal on a Samsung smartphone, you should also check how long it's supported with updates to safeguard your device against security threats. Use our mobile phone security calculator to see how long a phone has left before you buy – we only recommend models that have at least two years.'
Where can I find the best Samsung deals?
One of the best places to check for deals is always the official Samsung store.
Samsung typically offers deals that include traditional discounts but also free accessories, other devices like Chromebooks or significant cashback on older devices that can reduce the up front cost dramatically.
Best Samsung mobile phone contract deals
There are hundreds of contract deals for the Galaxy phone range and they change all the time. The key to getting a good deal is knowing how to work out the total cost to compare to other options. Use our phone contract calculator below to do that for deals you're weighing up, and bear the following in mind before you take the plunge:
- Check the period over which you'll pay off the handset. Many providers now offer 48-month repayment plans, which can make the monthly cost appear low but may not save you money in the long term.
- Find out how much the Sim price may rise after the first year, and remember you can switch the Sim part of the deal after the two years are up.
- Watch out for up-front costs, and look out for other ways to save, such as trading in money for your old handset.
