Best deal on the Asus ROG Ally
Average price in the past six months: £549.97 Cheapest price in the past six months: £399
Asus ROG Ally

We like: PC gaming on the go
Watch out for: Uses Windows 11, not its own operating system
It's easy to think of the ROG Ally as a souped-up Nintendo Switch, but it's actually more like a gaming laptop with joysticks attached.
This handheld PC from Asus has a 7-inch 120Hz FHD touchscreen, 512GB of storage and 16GB of Ram.

Meta's latest mixed-reality headset allows you to play games in full VR or in mixed augmented reality. You won't need to set up any base stations or tracking devices with it.
This headset has got a great discount this Black Friday and is the cheapest we've ever seen it.

We like: Exclusive titles and experiences
Watch out for: Need a PS5 in order to use
If you already have a PlayStation 5 and want to get into the digital worlds of VR, now's a good opportunity to pick up Sony's PS5-specfic headset.
This deal doesn't come with any games, so you'll need to buy them separately. Either way, it's the cheapest we've ever seen this headset.

Best PS5 deals
PlayStation 5 Slim
Average price in the past six months: £466.25 Cheapest price in the past six months: £399.99

We like: Detachable disc drive
Watch out for: Make sure you have a TV to play it on – why not check out one of our best TV deals?
It's the best deal we've seen on a new PS5. You can get £80 off a console when you buy from Amazon.
It's not just the disc PS5 that's got £80 off – you can also pick up a digital PS5 at a discount. It might be worth choosing the disc model over the digital, as that can save you more money in the long run if you buy second-hand physical games.

Best Xbox deals

Average price in the past six months: £244.64 Cheapest price in the past six months: £159.99

We like: 'Play Anywhere' games means you can play your games on PC, too
Watch out for: No disc drive – digital games only
Last year, there were significant discounts on the Xbox over Black Friday. We haven't seen prices match those lows but, in the meantime, you can grab a Series S with £40 off from a few retailers.
It's not the hottest deal, but it's the best one currently available.

Best Nintendo Switch deal
Our pick: Nintendo Switch OLED (White)
Average price in the last six months: £309.13
Cheapest Price in the last six months: £255.00

We like: Cheapest price we've ever seen on a Switch OLED
Watch out for: No extras like in other Switch deals
If you're after a Switch OLED, or want to upgrade from your regular Switch – this is the best bargain currently available.
You won't get any freebies like a game or free Nintendo Switch Online, but the savings on this deal are well worth picking those up separately.
We saw this console cheapest at ShopPlay.co.uk, where you can get it for £259.

Best TV gaming deal
LG OLED42C44LA
Average price in the past six months: £963 Lowest price in the past six months: £869

We like: Our top pick for a TV deal this Black Friday
We don't like: Lacks some accessibility settings
This high-end 42-inch OLED TV has plenty of gaming features and a lot of other nice-to-haves. It has a 100/120Hz screen, plus Freesync and G-Sync built in. This will make gaming on an Xbox or PS5 look smoother and should reduce input lag when playing with a controller.
There are more features than just those for gaming: you'll get features like Dolby Vision, plus plenty of smart features to stream movies and TV without any additional hardware.

Best gaming monitor deal
Samsung Odyssey LS25BG400EUXXU
Average price in the past six months: £217 Cheapest price in the past six months: £148.98

We like: Easy to assemble, plus gaming features
Watch out for: Ports and sockets can be awkward to access
If you're looking for a new monitor for your gaming PC, or don't want to spend hundreds of pounds on a TV, this Samsung monitor is a great option to consider.
It has a high refresh rate of 240Hz, which can make games seem smoother while playing. You'll need to make sure your console or PC can output more than 60 frames per second in order to see any differences, though. It's a 1080p FHD monitor, so devices such as a PS5 shouldn't have many issues reaching those higher frame rates.

Best Fire TV Stick gaming deal
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K streaming device
Average price in the past six months: £59.99 Lowest price in the past six months: £34.99

We like: Xbox game streaming
Watch out for: Needs to be powered by an outlet
Amazon's 4k Fire Stick aims to bring top quality streaming experiences to your home by connecting to Wi-fi 6 and streaming in 4K Ultra HD.
One standout feature of this model is that it's the only streaming media player with the Xbox app, which means you can stream games through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and cloud gaming.

Is the Steam Deck on sale this Black Friday?
Sadly, it doesn't seem to be on sale this year. There have been times when you can get a small discount on the popular handheld PC, but those have been few and far between.
While you can sometimes get them from retailers such as Amazon, it's not uncommon to find them selling for higher than RRP from a third-party seller. If you're after one, we'd recommend buying from Valve direct.
As of writing, the price for a Steam Deck LCD is still £349, with prices for the Steam Deck OLED at £479 (512GB model) and £569 (1TB model).
If you're after one, you can check out prices and availability from Steam.
Where can I find Black Friday deals on games?
